Enum PdfSignatureTimestampStatus

Namespace
LMKit.Document.Pdf
Assembly
LM-Kit.NET.dll

The timestamp axis of signature validation: whether the signature carries an RFC 3161 signature timestamp, and whether that token proves the signing time.

public enum PdfSignatureTimestampStatus

Fields

None = 0

The signature carries no timestamp token.

Valid = 1

The token verifies over the signature value and the timestamp authority chains to a configured trust anchor: the signing time is proven.

Untrusted = 2

The token verifies over the signature value, but the timestamp authority does not chain to a configured trust anchor.

Invalid = 3

The token is broken: it does not cover this signature's value, does not verify, or cannot be parsed.

Remarks

A valid timestamp upgrades the signing time from signer-declared to cryptographically proven, and certificate validity along the signing chain is then judged at the proven time. A broken or untrusted token never invalidates an otherwise valid signature by itself; times fall back to the signer's claim.
