Thrown when the verification that follows a redaction finds text still readable inside a redaction area of the output. No output is produced: a redaction that cannot prove its areas are empty fails closed.

Remarks

Verification re-opens the redacted output and reads its text layer, invisible text (an OCR layer) included, under every redaction area. Text the redaction did not reach (content inside a form XObject when PdfRedactionOptions.RecurseIntoForms is off, for example) is reported here instead of being shipped. Turn verification off with PdfRedactionOptions.VerifyRedaction only when a residual is expected and accepted.
