Class BarcodeReaderOptions

Namespace
LMKit.Extraction.Barcodes
Assembly
LM-Kit.NET.dll

How BarcodeReader searches an image. The defaults favour finding a symbol on a scanned page (turned, inverted, large) over raw speed.

Examples

using LMKit.Extraction.Barcodes;

var reader = new BarcodeReader(new BarcodeReaderOptions
{
    Formats = new[] { BarcodeFormat.QRCode, BarcodeFormat.Code128 },
    TryRotate = false
});

Properties

Formats

Gets or sets the formats to look for. Empty (the default) looks for every readable format. A symbology (EANUPC) or a filter (AllLinear) stands for all of its formats. Fewer formats read faster and avoid false detections.

IsPure

Gets or sets whether the image holds exactly one unrotated, synthetic symbol (a generated label): detection is skipped. Default: false.

MaxSymbols

Gets or sets the number of symbols after which the search stops; 0 (the default) reads them all. At most 255.

ReturnErrors

Gets or sets whether symbols that were located but failed to decode are also returned (with IsValid false). Default: false.

TryDownscale

Gets or sets whether the reader also scans downscaled copies of a large image (a 300 DPI page). Default: true.

TryHarder

Gets or sets whether the reader spends more time to find a symbol (denser scan, more candidates). Default: true.

TryInvert

Gets or sets whether the reader also looks for light symbols on a dark background. Default: true.

TryRotate

Gets or sets whether the reader also looks at the image turned by 90, 180 and 270 degrees. Default: true.

Methods

Clone()

Returns a copy of these options.
