Namespace LMKit.Graphics.Primitives
Classes
- ColorNaming
Names a color with the basic color term (BasicColorTerm) a person would use for it: "blue" for a navy and a sky alike, "brown" for a tan and a chocolate. The vocabulary a color search facet, a caption or an accessibility description can rely on.
- ColorSpaceTokens
The stable lower-case tokens of ColorSpace (
"gray","rgb","indexed","ycbcr","cmyk","ycck","lab"): what a wire protocol or a stored property carries, parsed back without ambiguity.
- IccProfile
An ICC colour profile: the bytes of an
.icc/.icmfile and the facts it states about itself (the device colour space, its channel count, its class and its description). Profiles come from a file, from raw bytes (for example the profile a loaded image embeds, IccProfile), or from the three the SDK builds itself: Srgb, Gray and GenericCmyk.
Structs
- LabColor
A color expressed in the CIE 1976 Lab* space (CIELAB) under the D65 illuminant, the perceptually uniform space every color comparison in the SDK is made in. L runs from 0 (black) to 100 (diffuse white); A runs from green (negative) to red (positive) and B from blue (negative) to yellow (positive), both nominally within [-128, 127] for colors an sRGB display can show.
Enums
- BasicColorTerm
The eleven basic color terms every language with a full color vocabulary shares (Berlin and Kay, 1969): the names people reach for when they say what color something is, and the vocabulary a search facet or a caption can rely on. ColorNaming maps any color to the term it belongs to.
- ColorSpace
How colour samples are organized: in a file, in an ICC profile's device side, or as the space an encoder is asked to write. The values mirror the imaging runtime's
lmkit_color_spaceso a file's facts and a profile's facts speak one vocabulary.
- RenderingIntent
How an ICC colour transform maps colours the destination cannot reproduce (the ICC rendering intents, numbered as the specification numbers them).
- UnitMode
Selects the measurement unit used by geometry, drawing, layout, and rendering APIs.
