Enum TextFormat
- Namespace
- LMKit.TextGeneration
- Assembly
- LM-Kit.NET.dll
The syntax of a text handed to a text task - how its structure is written, as opposed to the transport it arrives in. A task that splits long inputs into chunks and rewrites them (translation, for one) cuts a Markdown document at its block boundaries and tells the model to keep the syntax and change only the words, where the same document read as plain text would be cut mid-table and its markers left to the model's discretion.

Fields
Auto = 0The task decides from the text itself: Markdown when its syntax is visibly present (headings, list markers, pipe tables, fenced code, emphasis, links), plain text otherwise. The default.
PlainText = 1Plain prose with no markup to protect. Line breaks and paragraphs still shape the chunks.
Markdown = 2Markdown. Chunks open on headings and never cut through a table, a list or a fenced code block, and the model is asked to keep every marker where it stands.
