The modification permission a certification (author) signature grants on the document, from its DocMDP transform parameters.

Fields

None = 0

The signature is not a certification signature.

NoChangesAllowed = 1

No changes are permitted after signing.

FormFillingAllowed = 2

Form filling and signing are permitted after signing.

FormFillingAndAnnotationsAllowed = 3

Form filling, signing, and annotations are permitted after signing.

Remarks

A PDF carries at most one certification signature. Approval signatures carry None: they certify nothing about later changes by themselves.
