Class PdfSignatureValidationResult

Namespace
LMKit.Document.Pdf
Assembly
LM-Kit.NET.dll

The validation verdict for one signature, reported on independent axes: document integrity, signer identity, and revocation. Status is the combined three-state verdict.

public sealed class PdfSignatureValidationResult
Inheritance

Inherited Members

Remarks

The axes deliberately stay separate: "the math checks out" and "the signer is trusted" are different facts, and a caller (or a viewer surface) must be able to state each one honestly.

Properties

CertificateChain

Gets the certification path that was built, signer first. When Identity is Trusted the last element is the trust anchor; otherwise the list carries the certificates that were available.

ChainFacts

Gets the certification path's display facts, signer first, matching CertificateChain. Available on every platform.

DigestAlgorithm

Gets the friendly name of the digest algorithm the signature uses (for example SHA-256), or the dotted OID when the algorithm is not recognized.

Identity

Gets the signer-identity verdict: does the signer chain to a configured trust anchor.

Integrity

Gets the document-integrity verdict: do the signed bytes still match the signature.

Revocation

Gets the revocation verdict, from revocation material embedded in the signature.

Signature

Gets the structural facts of the signature being judged.

SignerCertificate

Gets the signer certificate extracted from the signature container, or null when the container carries none. On platforms without the BCL certificate type (the browser) this stays null; SignerFacts always carries the display facts.

SignerFacts

Gets the signer certificate's display facts, or null when the container carries no certificate. Available on every platform.

SigningTime

Gets the best available signing time: the signed CMS attribute when present, otherwise the signature dictionary's claimed /M value. null when neither exists. This time is signer-declared, not cryptographically proven.

Status

Gets the combined three-state verdict for this signature.

StatusMessage

Gets a one-sentence explanation of the decisive factor behind Status, suitable for logs and user-facing detail views.

Timestamp

Gets the RFC 3161 signature-timestamp verdict. When Valid, the signing time is proven and the chain is judged at TimestampTime.

TimestampTime

Gets the time attested by the timestamp token, or null when the signature carries no parseable token.
